Start with the storage decision.
Before you make a copy, decide who operates the storage location, whether the file will synchronize, and how you will access it if the phone is unavailable. A local drive, your own encrypted storage, or a carefully chosen provider can all be reasonable, but they have different tradeoffs.
Make a copy you can actually locate later.
Give the backup a storage location you can name and reach. Do not leave the only copy in a temporary share sheet location or assume an export has become a durable backup without checking where it was saved.
Keep a simple record of the backup location and date without writing down the private space password or Access Key next to it.
The backup file itself can be portable. That does not imply that every space has the same encryption behavior. Know which space you exported and what protects it before calling it encrypted.

When you create a backup for a Senvra private space, the backup is protected by the source space Access Key used at creation. Keep that recovery material safely and separately from the backup file. It is the boundary that lets the private-space backup remain portable without a Senvra-hosted recovery server.
Do not put a private-space backup file and its Access Key in the same plainly labeled note, email, or shared folder. A local-first design cannot honestly promise a remote reset for that private encryption boundary.

A backup plan has three parts: the saved file is present, the private-space Access Key is still available, and the app can verify the copy before restoring only the items that are missing. Check these when you still have time to correct the plan.
